Junior Clinical Fellow in General Medicine - £42002.80 - £59539.50 + annual leave, study leave, pension.

Medacs Healthcare is currently recruiting Junior Clinical Fellow level doctors in General Medicine. The role is based within a large NHS trust hospital.


•£42002.80 - £59539.50 annual salary (48 hours per week);
•Fixed term 12 month Contracts available, all extendable or to become substantive;
•Tier 2 UK Visas available;

•Annual Leave of up to 28 days plus eight public holidays plus study leave;
•Pay enhancements to reward out of hours, shift and overtime working.

The post holder will have rotations through the Acute Medicine and General Internal Medicine wards gaining 50:50 experience of the services. Whilst on the Acute Medicine rota the focus is in Acute Medical Take and treatment within the first 48 hours of admission. If the patient requires a hospital stay of longer than 48 hours then they will be transferred to a post-AMU ward.

This post would be suitable for any trainee who has, or are on course to, successfully complete a 2-year Foundation School programme or has achieved equivalent competencies. Ideally trainees will have an up to date certification for Adult Life Support training.

Although this appointment is not accredited for training the appointee will be expected to participate fully in the educational and training programmes within each department and the hospital. The appointee will have a named education supervisor. Annual leave and study leave (*but not funding) is commensurate with other post foundation doctors.

Previous postholders have been successful in gaining entry to training programmes upon completion.
