Fantastic opportunity to join a highly adaptive and diverse private dental practice based in Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire.

Lead dental nurse needed to start as soon as possible

Full time
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8.30am - 6pm
Tuesday 9.30am - 7pm

Must have 3 years experience
From £9 per hour depending on experience

Fully private practice

3 surgeries using Software of Excellence

Off street parking available

The practice focus on Orthodontics and cosmetics

You will be working in close relation to the principle dentist and the practice manager. Excellent training and development opportunities as well as verifiable CPD and remuneration packages are available for the right candidates.

•    Perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures in a safe and effective manner in accordance with the ‘Code of Ethics’ of the British Association of Dental Nurses, the GDC’s ‘Scope of Practice’
•    Maintain professional registration with the GDC
•    Establish, promote and maintain productive working relationships with all members of the dental team.
•    Liaise with the practice manager on all matters concerning administration, ordering and CQC policies/audits.
•    Supervision of trainee dental nurses in the practice
•    Assist with reception duties and perform other clerical duties if required
•    Prepare the necessary materials and instruments, making sure that equipment and instruments are in good working order and maintained regularly in accordance with practice policy
•    Assist in taking radiographs (according to your level of training)
•    Maintain and decontaminate equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and your training
•    Monitor, support and reassure patients
•    Assist in the keeping of full and accurate patient records and ensure that they are regularly updated and stored securely

•    If preferable familiar with Exact (SOE)
