Medacs Healthcare currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 7 Occupational Therapist to start work within the South West London area

The Band 7 Occupational Therapist will be working within a rehabilitation unit as a team lead and will be in charge of the clinical supervision of others. They will also be undertaking clinical assessments of elderly patients, planning and providing appropriate treatment (including medicines and activities), liaising with doctors, family members, carers and other professionals and keeping them updated and planning further treatment and reviewing progress.

Please note candidates must have clinical experience in rehabiliation, orthopaedics and medicine for the elderly. Knowledge of community services and onward referral/discharge planning is also essential.

This position is for 4 days, 30 hours a week and the pay rate will be between £25.00 - £28.00 depending on experience.

*Candidates must be HCPC registered
*Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy
*Band 7 team lead and NHS experience
