Medacs Healthcare currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 7 Diabetes Lead Dietitian for an NHS role within the Mansfield area.

The Band 7 Diabetes Lead Dietitian will be working with patients who have diabetes and will advise and help them to make informed and practical choices about their food and nutrition. They will assess, diagnose and treat dietary and nutritional problems and also teach and inform the public and health professionals about diet and nutrition. Your aim is to promote good health and prevent disease in individuals.

Please note the candidate must be able to facilitate insulin pump and education sessions.

This position is due to start mid November and is lasting for 3 months and the pay rate will be betweeen £22.00 and £25.00 per hour depending on experience.

*Candidates must be HCPC registered
*Minimum of 2 years NHS experience
*Degree in Dietetics
