PE Global Healthcare requires a Trauma Registry Manager for one of the largest hospital groups in Qatar.

The Trauma Registry Manager is responsible to ensure that the organisation and the State of Qatar have an accurate and timely data system to meet international trauma system standards and the National Health Strategy`s requirement for key performance indicator reports, which require the continual development of a current, high-quality trauma data repository. The Trauma registry Manager is also responsible for the creation and distribution of reports for system-wide performance improvement, injury prevention, research efforts, and for key stakeholders, which include hospital and trauma system accreditation agencies and Qatar`s Supreme Council of Health, Ministry of Labor, and Ministry of Interior. The Trauma Registry Manager ensures a high-quality repository based on International Standards for best practice, through strategic planning, organizing, monitoring, controlling and evaluating the trauma registry activities to meet the needs of the trauma center, trauma system, and community. The position also requires maintenance of clinical experience in trauma-related settings and the provision of day-to-day management of trauma registry personnel.

The Trauma Registry Manager plays a vital role in the organisations trauma centers and trauma system. The position is a required component for trauma center and trauma system accreditation.

Essential Education:
Bachelor Degree in Nursing or Allied Health AND Attends the Trauma Society`s Trauma Registrar Course or equivalent within 12 months of hire, if not previously completed AND Attends the Association of the Advancement of Automotive Medicine`s Injury Scaling Course within 12 months of hire, if not previously completed AND Completes a minimum of 8 hours of registry-specific continuing education every year

Essential Experience:
5 years in nursing or medical field, plus
3 years in a clinical database

Language Skills: English - Advanced Essential
Computer Skills: MS Office; Clinical Database Management
