Pulse has a client who is looking for a Sonographer to join their team on a permanent full time basis.
The Sonographer will be reporting to the Lead Sonographer and the Diagnostic Manager to provide a wide range of ultrasonography examinations including gynaecological, abdominal and small parts. It is essential they have experience of clinically justifying ultrasound referrals and being able to react and adapt to the demands of the service. The post holder will need a degree of flexibility and the ability to work without supervision, under pressure.
It is essential the candidate has DMU or PgDip in Medical Ultrasound (ideally from a CASE accredited institution) or equivalent however, Sonographer’s with only a PgC in (general) Ultrasound will be considered. They must have HCPC registration and evidence of Post Graduate education/CPD. They must also have experience of autonomous practice and independent reporting. This role would particularly suit an experienced and senior sonographer interested in a progressive role with increased responsibility
