Registered Nurse (Learning Disability or Mental Health) RNLD/ RMN

Medacs Healthcare is currently seeking a Registered Nurse, (RNLD or RMN) for a Community Learning Disability Team based in South West London. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of Valuing People Now, CPA & MCA and all other relevant legislation. This is a full time permanent position ideally working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Requirements

* A recognised nursing qualification within Learning Disability or Mental Health together with full and current registration with NMC
* Demonstrable experience of delivering care programmes in the field of mental health or learning disability settings
* Proven clinical skills.

Overview of the role

As a registered nurse, you will hold a client case load as agreed with the team manager and deliver a competent and coordinated nursing service in partnership with service users, members of the multidisciplinary team and other agencies. Through your strong clinical knowledge, you will supply advice and expertise in care planning and risk management for adults with Learning Disabilities/mental health problems/challenging behaviour and autism inaccordance with the care planning approach.
