An exciting opportunity has arisen for a national primary care diabetes specialist. If you are looking to join a leading medical device brand in the highly established market, please get in contact. The successful candidate will have an excellent sales pedigree in either medical or FMCG sectors. The role is with one of the world's largest and most diverse healthcare organisations who are seen as a market leader in multiple device areas and an instantly recognisable brand. Key Information

* This is a direct selling role within the UK primary care market place leading the discussions with CCG's, wholesalers and independent chemists and pharmacies to broaden the NDT offering direct to consumers
* The strategy needs to encompass the successful introduction of innovation in the country with services and programs tailored to the different channels/partnerships/ CCG's, Primary Care HCP's.
* The role will also include working in collaboration with the marketing and inside sales team to drive DTC awareness and adoption within primary care.


* £50 - 65k Basic
* 35% Bonus (Uncapped)
* Company Car
* Pension, training, medical, dental

Key Skills and Qualifications

* Minimum of 8 years of sales/marketing experience in the healthcare industry with a demonstrated track record and over-plan performance
* Experience in selling DTC products within primary care
* Minimum of 5 years related sales experience in the country
* Prior medical device, business to business or pharmaceutical sales management experience highly preferred
* Knowledge of the Diabetes market place and related therapies is a strong plus
* Strong experience in driving both direct and indirect channels
* Proven strong commercial and business acumen (analytical / strategic ) with the strategic vision to drive and maximize profitability
* Previous sales award recipient due to strong sales performance (e.g., President's Club, Rookie of the Year etc.).
* Strong data analysis, evaluation and problem solving skills.
