Are you looking for a career in Intensive Care Nursing but have never had the opportunity to gain experience? If the answer is yes then this could be the opportunity for you.

A leading NHS Trust that is one of London's four major trauma centres is recruiting Band 5 Registered Nurses to join their Critical Care/ICU team. No previous experience in Critical Care is necessary, we are only asking for a minimum of 6 months post qualifying experience in an acute medical or surgical setting, within any specialty.

The Critical Care Unit comprises of 3 ICUs totalling 47 beds, and they provide specialist care across all specialities for the critically ill patient. This includes neurosurgery, neurology, trauma, orthopaedics, general surgery, medical, cardiothoracic, cardiology, renal and haematology.

A new purpose built & state of the art 60 bedded critical care unit and a helipad are due to open in 2016, so these are very exciting times to join.

In return for your dedication and hard work, the unit actively encourages education & development and it offers a well-established Band 5 staff development programme. They are affiliated to a prestigious London university, which provides a wide variety of modules that will lead to BSc or MSc in Critical Care Nursing.

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a minimum of 6 months post registration experience within an acute setting.
