Key Information

* Our client is a small, successful, independent pharmacy group that prides itself on offering the highest quality services to all its customers.
* The directors are ambitious and always looking for ways to develop the business - they are focussed on innovation and staying at the forefront of pharmacy and the business has developed an excellent reputation.
* Pharmacy Managers working for the firm are afforded plenty of autonomy within their roles and the chance to use their initiative. At the same time, the firm offers managers a huge amount of support, if they need it.
* This is a friendly, supportive company, where there are always people happy to help and there's a great support network between the Managers.

* The pharmacy is quite busy (8,000-10,000 prescriptions per month) and offers a range of services including MUR, NMS, FLU, EHC and Methadone supervision. There's a good level of dispensing support including 2 full-time dispensers and a pre-reg student (who could be relocated to a different pharmacy if you didn't want to supervide).
* It's the only pharmacy in the village, so it forms an essential part of the village infrastructure.
* The opening hours are 09:00-18:00 Mon-Fri and 09:00-13:00. The pharmacy is closed every day for lunch between 13:00-14:00 hrs.

* The position of Pharmacy Manager has recently become available (the pharmacy has only had 2 managers in the last 8 years so it's always been a stable business).
* The directors are looking for someone who can who can take the pharmacy and develop it and really make it their own. They are looking for someone to:

- Take overall responsibility for the management of the pharmacy

- Maintain the script volume

- Develop the clinical services side of the business with a high level of freedom

* You will be totally responsible for the management of staff at the pharmacy including making sure that each member of staff works to the same work ethic of offering great patient care and making sure they all know what and when they should be doing things and that they are all confident and happy within their roles. You will also be responsible for any staffing issues including recruitment, appraisals, training, discipline etc. Finally, you will also have the opportunity to supervise a pre-reg.

Key Benefits

* They are very dedicated to seeing their team progress, whether clinically or professionally.
