HCL are looking to fill a Respiratory Medicine Associate Specialist role within a university hospital situated in the picturesque area of Lancashire.

We are looking to place a number of successful candidates within the respiratory department to complete a compliment of 4 existing Respiratory Consultants.

Successful candidates are required to have appropriate experience and interests in both internal medicine and Respiratory Medicine and to hold or to be within 6 months of obtaining certification from the General Medical Council.

Specific clinical responsibilities for the post will be agreed with the successful candidate upon appointment. A tentative job place is proposed which may be adjusted to suit the service needs and interests of the new post holder.

Successful applicants will be able to:

- Provide specialist in-patient and out-patient opinion and case management;

- Consolidate and develop respiratory services for the local population.

- Contribute to the further development of respiratory services across the Trust.

- Promote and support education of primary and community care practitioners.

The role is available to overseas candidates who have the following Criteria:

- GMC Registration

- MRCP or PLAB qualification

 

- 6-7 years experience - UK experience is preferable

- Fluent in the English Language

- Tier 2 Visa

- £8k relocation package

 
The salary for this role is within the NHS pay scale starting at £52,643 - £85,797 and will increase each year dependent on experience.
