Medacs Healthcare currently have exciting opportunities for experienced Band 6 & 7 Occupational Therapists to start work within the London area for a permanent position.
The Band 6 & 7 Occupational Therapists will be working within a specialist neurological hospital, providing a high standard of Occupational Therapy assessment, treatment and advice for patients with acute, chronic and progressive Neurodisability. They will be responsible for the provision of an Occupational Therapy service within a designated area and reports directly to the Clinical Specialists in Occupational Therapy.
Main duties will include to undertake specialist assessment for patients with complex presentation across the neuroscience specialities including neurology, neurosurgery, neuro-rehabilitation, acquired brain injury, as an autonomous practitioner, including diagnosis and interpretation of results using specialist analytical skills. The Occupational Therapists will also organise, plan and carry out home assessments as required according to the departmental policy involving patients, families, carers, internal and external agencies, MDT members.
This is for a full time permanent role and the annual salary will be between £31,562 - £47,778 depending on experience.
*Candidates must be HCPC registered
*Clinical OT experience including neurological post-grad experience
*Experience within a physical and rehabiliation setting
*A valid UK driving licence and own transport
