Specialty Doctor Respiratory - £55,965 - £84,453 based on 12 PA's + annual leave, study leave, pension.

Medacs Healthcare is currently recruiting Specialty Doctors (middle grade level) in Respiratory Medicine. The positions are within an NHS trust based East Midlands.

Location: East Midlands

Duties include

-The post holder will have day-to-day supervisory responsibility for patients on the ward and will take part in consultant ward rounds

-The post holder will ensure that GP e discharge letters containing all relevant information are sent.

-The post holder will be expected to give advice when required to clinical nurse practitioners and to advise junior medical staff where appropriate

-The post holder will ensure that case notes are properly completed, drug prescriptions are regularly reviewed, appropriate investigations are carried out and the results acted upon and made available for consultant ward rounds.

-The post holder will be expected to participate in the out of hour and on call rota which is currently 2:20

-The post holder will be required to provide cover for colleagues annual leave and other authorised absence.

-The post holder must work flexibly with colleagues to achieve the hospital agreed planned activity for inpatient and outpatient services
