Specialty Doctor Opthalmology
Salary: £76,001 and £102,465.

HCL Permanent is searching for an experienced and enthusiastic Specialty Doctor in Ophthalmology for a NHS Trust in the North West of England.

General duties of the successful candidate will work within a department of trusted and highly qualified consultants and professional colleagues and will be expected to initiate and continue the clinical management of patients. All clinicians will be expected and encouraged to participate in clinical governance initiatives, clinical effectiveness and audit and risk management.

The successful candidate will be accountable to the Lead Clinician in Ophthalmology

- Full GMC Registration or proof of being in the process

- We strongly recommend a statement of interest to be produced

- FRCOphth or MRCOphth

- Wide clinical experience in general ophthalmology  

- Shall have completed 4 years full time post graduate training (or equivalent on part time of flexible basis)  and at least 2 of which will be in a specialty training programme in Ophthalmology or as fixed term specialty trainee in Ophthalmology. Or shall have equivalent experience and competencies.

The hospitals are capable of sponsoring for a tier 2 visa if required.
