PE Global Healthcare requires Nurse Duty Supervisor for one of the largest hospital groups in Qatar.
The Nursing Duty Supervisor (NDS) is responsible for the administrative and clinical aspects of the clinical aspects of the clinical departments/units(s)/hospitals after normal administrative hours (07.00-15.00hrs) to include organising, developing, directing and assuring the delivery of safe and quality patient care. She/he lead the processes which ensure that patient care is delivered in accordance with established corporate wide policies and procedures, nursing standards and the organizations Code of Professional Behaviour and Ethics for Nurses and Midwives. This position will have 24 hour accountability to ensure clinical resource and continuity of patient care.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing/Midwifery (or in the field of health practice e.g. Mental Health) or equivalent health related degree, and/or post graduate award leading to, or in addition to, a valid nursing license nursing license that meets the requirements for licensing in the State of Qatar. Has undertaken certified specialty education as per the Job Description
Required certification/licensure: Valid nursing license from the country of origin AND be eligible for license in the Supreme Council for Health State of Qatar Relevant life support/resuscitation certificates preferred, but there will opportunity to undertake as part of orientation
Essential Experience: A minimum of 4 years` post nursing registration clinical experience
Including 1 year recent clinical experience in a relevant nursing field
Evidence of experience in managing/influencing people
Evidence of service development /improvement
Evidence of patient safety and quality initiatives ? Evidence of ongoing education and development
Language Skills: English - reading, writing, spoken - proficient (essential)
