Medacs Healthcare is currently looking for a Trust doctor in Respiratory/General Medicine (level ST+) to work in a large teaching hospital in Lancashire.
The post holder will predominantly work on the medical escalation wards where there is a strong focus on teamwork. The post holder will receive senior supervision and support and will deliver a wide range of medical input in managing general medical patients in the acute setting.

Main duties will include:
- Co-ordinate the day to day care of patients within the Team ensuring that all patients receive a daily visit on the escalation ward(s).
- Be involved in complex clinical patient management problems and multi-disciplinary planning and treatment.
- Participate in regular MDT ‘board rounds’ to review patient/ pathway/ progress towards discharge

Contract type: Full time/Fixed term
Contract length: 12 months (minimum)
Salary scale: £31,614 – £47,647 per annum depending on experience plus up to 50% banding on the top of basic salary

Requirements:
- GMC registration with a licence to practice
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Respiratory Medicine and 1 year in General Medicine
