Medacs Healthcare is currently looking for RMO doctor to work in one of the UK’s most established and respected addiction rehab centres based in a beautiful Scotland.

The Medical Officer (Resident Medical Officer) is an important member of the medical team. He /she is responsible for : the physical healthcare needs of patients; providing medical support and guidance to nursing staff; provision of 24 hour medical and emergency care to inpatients and in an emergency to hospital staff and visitors.

The Resident Medical Officer is expected to have, or to acquire the competencies and skills that are needed to safely provide and monitor patient care during detoxification along with consultant supervision. The management of more complex detoxes is the responsibility of a consultant or an experienced specialist practitioner.

- Fully registered and licensed with GMC
- Advanced life support and qualification and experience dealing with emergencies
- Four Years post qualification and two years as an SHO
- Strong post graduate experience
- Minimum of Two years post full registration
- Competent in emergency procedures
- Competent in the medical assessment and ongoing general medical care of patients

Salary range: £50 – 52k per annum

Relocation package:
- Full board is provided on site for the duration of the two week block. We have an RMO chalet, which is for the exclusive use of our two RMOs.
- We have a driver who provides transport to and from Edinburgh airport / train station if the successful applicant chooses to live elsewhere during the time off and commute here for their two week blocks.
