Medacs Healthcare is currently looking for middle grade doctors (level ST3) in General Medicine with interest in Rheumatology to work in a large hospitals in Kent.

The post holder will predominantly work on the medical escalation wards where there is a strong focus on teamwork. The post holder will receive senior supervision and support and will deliver a wide range of medical input in managing general medical patients in the acute setting.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Co-ordinate the day to day care of patients within the Team ensuring that all patients receive a daily visit on the escalation ward(s).

- Be involved in complex clinical patient management problems and multi-disciplinary planning and treatment.

- Participate in regular MDT 'board rounds' to review patient/ pathway/ progress towards discharge.

It is accepted that members of the non-consultant staff will also perform duties in occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances at the request of the appropriate Consultant, in consultation wherever practicable, with his or her colleagues, both Senior and Junior.

Salary scale: £35000-53000 per annum depending on experience
Contract type: fixed term for minimum 12 months
Requirements:
- Full GMC registration
- Fluent English
