Pulse has a client with the opportunity for a Learning Disability Physiotherapist to join their department of staff on a full time permanent basis on a 6 month FTC commencing in September 2016 until March 2017.
The Physiotherapist will manage a caseload of clients with complex needs and differential diagnosis, using evidenced based practice/client based principles to assess, plan, formulate, implement and evaluate interventions in a variety of settings (individually and/or in groups and as part of a multidisciplinary team).
They will supervise and mentor others, providing support and development, including supervision and continuing professional development to physiotherapy assistants, where applicable, and providing training to the wider staff team.
All candidates must have a degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy and be registered with HCPC. They must also be a Chartered Physiotherapist and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). They are expected to have post graduate experience of in the learning disabilities field.
