Pulse are working with a well-established, inpatient adult mental health service to support them with recruiting a permanent Clinical Psychologist.
Our client offers purpose built services with medium secure, low secure, and both locked and open rehabilitation opportunities for men and women.
The Clinical Psychologist will provide specialist psychological assessments and treatments. They will implement a range of psychological interventions and cognitive rehabilitation programmes for individuals, carers, families and groups, adjusting and refining psychological formulations drawing upon different explanatory models.
Candidates are required to have completed a post-graduate doctorate in Clinical Psychology and hold registration with the Health and Care Professions Council. Newly qualified clinical psychologist applications are welcome. Ideally candidates should have experience of working with a wide variety of client groups across the whole life course presenting problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity including maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive and distressing problems.
