Pulse has a client who is looking for a Clinical Psychologist to join their team on a full time permanent position. This role will require the post holder to travel between sites in the area.

The Clinical Psychologist will be responsible for the provision of specialist psychosocial assessment and intervention services for people with persistent pain, who have complex psychosocial needs. They will be expected to work in a highly autonomous fashion, receiving regular supervision from a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. The post holder will be involved in the provision of consultation, teaching and training of other health care professional as well as being expected to provide supervision for trainee clinical psychologists and other psychology students on placement with the service.

It is essential the candidate is a qualified Clinical Psychologist and eligible for Chartered Clinical Psychology Status in the British Psychology Society. They must also have current HCPC registration and a full clean driving license and access to own car. The successful candidate will have previous experience of working with people who have physical health problems, including those with persistent pain and will be familiar with the self- management approach.
