Medacs Healthcare is currently looking for a Specialty Doctor in Anaesthetics/ICU to work in a large NHS hospital in South Yorkshire.

Contract type: Full time/Fixed term
Contract length: 12 months (minimum)
Salary scale: £37,176 - £69,325

Main duties of the post:
• To provide a mixture of anaesthetic lists and other anaesthetic sessions, providing a wide experience in all aspects of anaesthesia. To provide some continuity and opportunity for personal development, some weekly sessions will be fixed within the requirements of the rota and with consideration to the interests of the post holder. The post holder may also be required to participate in weekend operating sessions and in weekday evening and weekend trauma sessions.
• To participate in one of two middle grade on-call rotas, either covering Critical Care or General/Obstetrics (EWTD compliant 7 doctor pattern)
• To participate in the training and education of junior doctors, nursing and other students attending the department.
• To deputise for absent colleagues.
• The post holder will have clinical responsibility for patients under his or/her care, and for the provision of treatment relevant to their clinical condition.

Requirements:
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice or in the process of applying
- Appropriate experience and clinical expertise in Anaesthetics/ICU
