Pulse has a client who is looking for a Family Therapist to join their hospital on a part time permanent basis of 24 hours per week.

The Family Therapist will provide a comprehensive and specialist service to young people at the Hospital and their families. They will be offering advice and consultation on the needs of the patients and their families, to colleagues and to others, including non-professionals and carers. The post holder will support the Consultant Psychologist in the systematic recording, tracking and reporting of clinical outcomes, including the use of standardised measures. They will also participate (under the direction of the Consultant Psychologist) in contributing to regional audits as well as the research programme for the hospital.

It is essential that applicants have a Masters level qualification in Systemic Psychotherapy or Advanced Diploma in Systemic Psychotherapy combined with relevant post qualifying experience. They must also have current UKCP registration and a post graduate qualification in relevant mental health. The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in child and adolescent mental health services, adolescent inpatient service and specialist assessment and treatment.
