Pulse has a client who is looking for a Senior 1 Occupational Therapist to work in their Paediatric unit on a full time permanent basis.

The Senior 1 Occupational Therapist will be responsible for ensuring that a professional and high quality occupational therapy service is delivered to the children and their families within the inpatient and outpatient service. They will formulate and provide a broad range of specialist treatment programmes and interventions to a diverse and highly complex paediatric caseload. The post holder will support the Occupational Therapy Lead in managing the day to day running of the team, including setting priorities, case allocation, staff support and identifying areas for service development. They will use expert clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and advanced psychometric testing to assess children with complex difficulties.

It is essential the candidate has a BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent and holds current registration with the HCPC. They must also have post registration experience working within a Paediatric Unit or department and experience with a range of hands on techniques and adjuncts to practice.
