Pulse has a client who has the opportunity for a Behaviour Advisor to join their team permanently.

The Behaviour Advisor will provide psychological assessment and intervention programmes for service users and will work closely with staff team, providing consultation and training. They will be expected to take the lead within the home to ensure the systematic provision of a high quality service within the framework of Positive Behaviour Support to people with learning disabilities, Autism and other associated difficulties, who also present with challenging behaviours. The post holder will also develop systems and processes for recording, monitoring and analysing behaviour which can be used to evidence change and demonstrate measurable outcomes for the people you support.

It is essential that candidates have an in-depth knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support and Applied Behaviour Analysis with a working understanding of the needs of people with a learning disability who also present with challenging behaviour and ordinary life principles. They must also have a diploma in Positive Behaviour Support and relevant qualification at Graduate Diploma level.
