Medacs Healthcare is currently recruiting Clinical Fellows (ST1/2 level) in Urology/General Surgery to work in a busy NHS hospital in Cheshire.

The posts will offer candidates from the UK or from abroad a unique opportunity to consolidate their experience in a busy and supportive NHS foundation hospital and provide a stepping-stone to the next level of clinical experience. They will have educational teaching, learning and assessment equivalent to those on national speciality programmes.

The post offers a wide variety of experience in both elective and emergency Urology and General Surgery. Although the majority of the work will involve the management of Urological conditions, the post holder will be expected to participate in the General Surgical on-call rota.

The post holder will be responsible to the appropriate Consultants for admitting cases, the conduct of ward investigations and for pre and post-operative care. They will also be responsible for arranging theatre lists and will participate in operative surgery, the extent of their involvement being commensurate with experience and ability. The post holder will attend, and assist at Urology Outpatient Clinics.

The salary could range from £30,002 - £39,693 per annum depending on previous experience.
- Eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of appointment and hold a current licence to practice.
- 12 months experience after full GMC registration
