SHO Plastic Surgery - £42002.80 - £59539.50 annual leave, study leave, pension.

Medacs Healthcare is currently recruiting SHO level doctors in Plastic Surgery. The positions are in some of UK's largest NHS trusts.

The posts provide excellent experience in all aspects of Plastic Surgery.

The post holder will be expected to complete in patient duties this will include, clerking routine and emergency admissions, and ensuring that appropriate investigations are carried out, attending Consultants' and Registrars' ward rounds, monitoring the progress of patients, assisting in Theatre operations, and taking an active part in Plastics. Patients to be admitted for surgery are seen for pre-operative assessment by the Junior Specialty Trainees/Trust Doctor one to two weeks before admission in dedicated clinics.

The SHO's are responsible for the day to day supervision of patients in the department. It is expected that the post holder will be actively engaged in providing a degree of leadership to junior staff.
There are also excellent opportunities to gain experience in all aspects of the department. All trusts that Medacs work with are seeking candidates who wish to learn and develop their career, with a view to becoming middle grades and consultants in the future.
