Specialty Doctor Emergency Medicine - £44,611 - £83,190 per annum annual leave, pension, study leave, CPD.

Medacs Healthcare is currently recruiting Specialty Doctors in Emergency Medicine. The positions are within some of the largest NHS trust hospitals in the UK.

South West England

-â-€-¢£44,611-£83,190 annual salary (48 hours per week)
-â-€-¢Fixed term 12 month Contracts available, all extendable or to become substantive;
-â-€-¢Tier 2 UK Visas available;
-â-€-¢Relocation assistance;
-â-€-¢Training and development;
-â-€-¢Annual Leave of up to 28 days plus eight public holidays plus study leave;
-â-€-¢Pay enhancements to reward out of hours, shift and overtime working.

Job Description:

The key duties included within the post are as follows:
-â-€-¢ The examination, investigation, treatment and referral (as appropriate) of patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
-â-€-¢ To oversee the work of junior doctors (F1, F2 and ST VTS) working in the department, to ensure that an acceptable standard of practise is maintained.
-â-€-¢ To ensure that all medical staff have their appropriate breaks when acting as shift leader.
-â-€-¢ To undertake on the floor teaching of medical and nursing students, junior medical and nursing staff in the department.

The successful candidate will be expected to participate in regular appraisal and the Trust/Department Clinical Governance Programme.
