Senior Clinical Fellow General Paediatrics - up to £75,000 annual salary based on experience

Medacs Healthcare is currently recruiting Senior Clinical Fellows in General Paediatrics. The positions are within some of the largest University Health Boards in Wales. These are excellent opportunities to gain valuable experience in general paediatrics, within a beautiful location with rolling countryside and vibrant cities

The post holder will be responsible for all patients in the department, and will participate in the supervision and education of junior medical staff. The post holder will need to be eligible for full GMC registration, and hold a MRCPCH or equivalent.

The main clinical duties of the post are:

-â-€-¢To attend all high risk deliveries where duties are assigned and on-call and assist the junior Doctor in that role whenever requested.

-â-€-¢You will provide advice to clinicians in hospital and primary care, originating either from telephone calls or ward referrals.

-â-€-¢To follow the guidelines on patient management that apply to the Children's Ward

-â-€-¢To liaise with staff in the Assessment Unit and Accident & Emergency Department regarding individual patient care and policy development in conjunction with the responsible Consultant Paediatrician.

-â-€-¢You will provide advice to clinicians in hospital and primary care, originating either from telephone calls or ward referrals.
