SHOs in Acute Medicine

Medacs Healthcare is currently recruiting Clinical Fellows (ST1/2 level) in Acute Medicine to work in a busy NHS hospital in Wiltshire.
The post holder will participate in the 1:17 rota within which the duties will be spread over a full shift pattern.
The posts will be working on general medical wards and rotate through various medical specialties. These posts will be part of the full shift rota which will include weekends, this rota currently attracts a 1A (50%) payband.

Salary scale: £30,002 - £39,693 plus 50% banding

Ward duties will involve inpatient care including ward rounds, assessing patients, carrying out management plans and writing clear, concise and accurate electronic discharge summaries. Consultant ward rounds will be a useful opportunity for doctors to discuss management plans and treatment options.

Requirements:
- Applicants must be eligible for full registration and hold a current licence to practise from the GMC at the time of intended start date,
- Have 12 months experience after full GMC Registration and evidence of achievement of foundation competences.
