Specialty Doctor General Medicine and Gastroenterology - £44,611 - £83,190 based on 12 PA's + annual leave, study leave, pension.

Medacs Healthcare is currently recruiting Specialty Doctors (middle grade level) within Medicine and
Gastroenterology. The positions are within an NHS trust based in the South of England

Location: South West of England

Duties of the post:

1.Assist Consultants with the diagnosis and management of General Medicine and Gastroenterology

2.Continuing responsibility for care of patients in liaison with Consultants

3.Assist the consultants with responding to and managing referrals from other specialties.

4.The appointee will be expected to be involved as part of the gastroenterology team in the developments of the specialty.

5.Participation in Pathology and Multidisciplinary Team meetings

6.The post holder will work closely with all grades of Foundation, Specialty Training Doctors and Specialist Registrars within Medicine.

7.On-call commitment to the (current) 9 person Middle Grade on-call rota which is being expanded to 12 person rota as part of this recruitment.

8.Any other special interests would be encouraged.
