We are currently working with a well-established practice in the Basingstoke area that are looking to add an Optometrist to their experienced team which can be flexible to you.

You will join an experienced and tenured team in a practice with low staff turnover and a phenomenal reputation in the area, where it is known as the opticians of choice.

There are options available for both full and part-time, shorter working hours to work around family life such as the school run amongst more which can be bespoke to your preference.

The practice itself is highly-established and has close links with the community it serves, which receive referrals from happy patients for their friends/family to come and pride themselves upon their service offered.

Options are available for Optometrists of all walks of life, where you can purely focus on routine eyecare but also offers wider clinical services including MECS and cataract clinics you can get involved with if you want.

The owners invest in their staff and there are options for clinical development including sponsorship through further courses, both clinically and through external providers such as the ILM.

Additionally there is opportunity for you to supervise a pre-reg Optometrist, with the package on offer tailored accordingly.

Overall this is a highly flexible role which can be tailored to you and if you are currently interested in finding a rewarding role to work for you this is an excellent option to consider.

Key Duties

* Full-time and part-time applications also considered
* General working hours of 9am-6pm, however can negotiate working hours including shorter days to work around family life and personal commitments
* Modern and well-equipped clinical practice including OCT's and Phoropter's
* Offer wider clinical services including MECS scheme amongst more
* Working alongside an experienced and tenured team with a significant number of staff having 10+ years tenure

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

* Fully registered with the GOC as an Optometrist
