Full Time Independent Optical Assistant Role, Potters Bar

Highly Exclusive Full Time Independent Optical Assistant Role based near Potters Bar, Hertfordshire offering generous salary and no weekend work.

This highly reputable and well-established independent practice has a rare opportunity for an experienced, passionate, and detail-oriented Optical Assistant to join their team on a full time basis.

Renowned for their high levels of patient care, you will be required to provide a bespoke and friendly service to all their patients and be comfortable working in a busy, thriving practice.

With a range of mid to high end frames including Rayban, Lindberg, Prada and more and mainly using Essilor lenses, this is a fantastic role to build on your current skill set.

Your main responsibilities will be to pre-screen patients before they are seen by Optometrists using a range of equipment including an OCT, contact lens teaches, and admin work.

Key Duties

* Available to work full time: five days a week
* General working hours are 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch
* Pre-screening patients
* Contact lens teaches
* Admin duties including booking appointments

Package and Benefits

* Generous basic salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience
* Standard Pension Scheme
* 28 days holiday including bank

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

* Minimum 2 years experience in optics
* Right to work in the UK
* Confident pre-screening patients
* Fantastic customer service skills
* Ability to work under pressure
