A brand new opportunity has arisen to work for a boutique independent practice as an Optical Assistant situated in the picturesque village of Cobham.

This is a new and exciting opportunity for a confident, professional, and passionate Optical Assistant to work closely with the Optometrist Directors, where you can develop and expand on your current knowledge and skill set.

You will be joining a future focussed practice, who pride themselves on offering an exceptional level of customer service and a large variety of top-quality products.

Being an independent boutique practice, this practice offers longer than average appointments for dispensing. This means that as the Optical Assistant, you have as much time with patients as you see necessary to provide the high levels of service, whilst working in a relaxed and friendly environment.

This role is a full time position with regular Saturdays necessary but an earlier finish if offered to enable a better work life balance.

Located in the village centre of Cobham, with fantastic transport links and parking nearby, this would also be a wonderful opportunity for those looking to relocate out of the busy city into a peaceful village close to the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Beauty.

Key Duties

* To provide a bespoke and tailored service to patients in a friendly, relaxed working environment.
* The opportunity to work with state of art optical equipment within a sleek and modern practice.
* You will be expected to provide exceptional patient care at the forefront of everything you do.
* Working hours are 9:30am-17:00pm Tuesday - Friday with an earlier finish of 4.30pm on a Saturday enabling a better work life balance with no late evenings.

* Very competitive basic salary of up to £24,000 (Negotiable depending on experience)

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

* Have the right to work in the UK
* Be personable and have a can-do attitude
* Have a real passion for optics and a willingness to grow and learn new things daily
* The ideal candidate will also have at least 4 years' optics experience, but applications will be considered from all levels of experience
