This well established, independent practice is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Optometrist to join their team in Banff, Aberdeenshire, on a, preferably, full time basis.

Whether you're nearly/newly qualified or an experienced Optometrist, this is a great opportunity to join a successful independent practice and really progress your career!

Based within a friendly modern practice, fitted with all the latest equipment and up to 40 minutes test times, the practice prides itself in offering exceptional patient care. They have developed an excellent reputation within the local area with a loyal client following. You would be working with only the highest quality frames and lenses too!

If you are looking for an opportunity to progress your Optometry career and have real ownership over how you practice Optometry, then this could be a great opportunity for you to become part of a highly organised team.

The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who is passionate about Optometry, really cares for their patients and wishes to endeavour to provide the highest level of primary care, keen to work with the Practice Managers and Practice Team to grow and build on the practice's existing success.

Location

The practice itself is located in one of the best-preserved townscapes in Scotland, Banff, home to the former royal Banff Castle. A lovely little town with plenty to explore -you're surrounded by beautiful coastal walks and one of the best surfing spots in the country! There are many nice cafés, as well as attractions such as the golf course and museum and walking trails.

Key Duties

* 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday with absolutely no weekend work!
* Be an enthusiastic and passionate team player
* Work with a range of high end frames and quality lenses
* 30-40 minute testing times
* The ability to balance both the clinical and commercial aspects of the role.
