Pharmacist (Mat Leave) Role, Kettering

An independent community pharmacy branch is seeking an enthusiastic Pharmacist to join their welcoming and supportive team in Kettering - initially this role is to provide maternity leave cover, with the possibility to join another branch on a permanent basis after.

An independent community pharmacy is seeking for a motivated pharmacist who can adapt quickly to provide maternity leave cover to a fast-paced high-volume pharmacy. The friendly and hard-working team are there to provide support to the pharmacist who will be given the autonomy to make their own decisions. Although this is a temporary role, the company are happy to offer a potential move to another branch on a permanent basis upon completion of the maternity cover.

Key Duties

* Maintaining a professional and welcoming approach to all aspects of the role
* Providing expert clinical advice to customers
* To check prescription medicines to patients, checking the form, strength, dosage and ensuring that medicines are correctly and safely labelled and supplied
* Provide services such as: Blood Pressure Monitoring, Diabetes Screening, Flu Vaccinations and Travel Medicines/Advice.
* To keep up to date with current pharmacy practice, new drugs and their uses for the purpose of continuing professional development
* Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 18:00
* Currently dispensing around 10,000-11,000 items per month
