The Area Director, Direct Markets is responsible for developing, implementing and drive sales strategies, that ensure sales revenue growth throughout the Nordics and the UK. The responsibilities for this role span implementation of sales strategies and drive sales of new products and implement and drive sales of established products depending on region. Leading direct sales reports, and deliver solutions to drive sales. This position reports to the Vice President General Manager, Sales & Marketing.

The role is based in the UK and can be fulfilled fully remotely. The client's UK offices are located Burton-on-Trent.

Key Duties

* Manage sales team and drive sales in the Nordic countries and the UK
* In conjunction with the Management, sets strategies, including definition of business opportunities, prioritization of the opportunities, pricing targets, gross profit and marketing expense budget. Support management with budget and forecasting processes.
* Agree on budget targets with reports.
* Monitoring of sales process of reports, coach when needed.
* Develops relationships in the name of Argon with Key Opinion Leaders.
* Provide market intelligence.
