Part Time Salaried GP Job, Cambridge

Small and friendly surgery now seeking a part time Salaried GP to cover 5 sessions per week on a Salaried basis. The practice is located just outside of Cambridge and offers a good opportunity to fit around your existing commitments.

What the job involves

* The practice operates from a single site located just outside of Cambridge in the Girton area. They are looking for a confident GP to cover the first half of the week, with 5 sessions falling over Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week.
* The practice provides care to less than 5,000 patients and has a stable work set up which consists of 17 patients each session. Appointments are a mix of primarily telephone, and a couple of face to face slots. The practice is well maintained and managed with support of the wider practice network.
* You will be the only GP on site with the support of a Nurse and ANP team, it is therefore important that you are comfortable with autonomous working. You will benefit from additional support and training through the PCN. The site is rated as Good by CQC and they are high QOF achievers reaching over 99% in the last review.
* The building is purpose built, you will have your own room and there is ample parking on site. The site is easily reached from Cambridge, Huntingdon and St Ives.

Key Duties

* 5 sessions per week, falling over Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
* Semi rural location
* Small and well managed site
* Autonomous working
* 17 patients in each session
* Less than 5,000 patients
* System one, training can be provided
* Minimal home visits, approximately 1 per month

Package and Benefits

* £10,000 - £11,000 per session
* Up to £88,000 full time equivalent
* Minimal home visits

* 6 weeks annual leave pro rata
* 1 week CPD pro rata
* Training and support through the PCN
