Fantastic opportunity for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join a friendly practice just outside of Cambridge. You will be joining a small and skilled team to deliver primary care services to under 5,000 patients.

What the job involves
The practice are now seeking a Part Time ANP (2 days per week) to support their clinical team. The site is located just outside of Cambridge in the Bar Hill area north of the city. You will be working as an autonomous Advanced Nurse Practitioner to see and assess patients presenting with acute conditions, including minor injuries and illnesses.

It is important that you are confident with autonomy, you will have the support of a GP and Nurse but as this is a small service, you will be the only ANP at times. The practices provides care to under 5,000 patients from a single, purpose built site. The site is easily reached from Cambridge, St Ives and Huntingdon and has ample parking on site.

The practice is rated as Good by the CQC and they are high QOF achievers with over 99%, making this a well managed and efficient service.

Key Duties

* Assessing patients with minor injuries or minor illnesses
* Acute and on the day care
* Supporting the GP with prescriptions and other administrative duties
* Telephone triage
* Prescribing medications autonomously
* System One
* 10 minute appointments
* Future support and development opportunities through the PCN
* Well managed practice
* Extremely low number of home visits
* Flexible on days

Package and Benefits

* 2 days per week (circa 18 hours)
* Flexible on the days
* £23 - £28 per hour depending on experience
* Up to £54,600 full time equivalent (37.5 hours)
* NHS Pension
* 5 weeks annual leave pro rata
* 1 week CPD pro rata

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

* UK registered Nurse with full NMC Pin
* Independent Prescribing Qualification
* Minor injuries and illnesses qualification
* Desirable: Masters Level Advanced Clinical Practice
