Consultant Radiologist Job, New Plymouth, New Zealand

Prospect Health are working alongside our public partner in New Plymouth who have asked us to help them find a suitably qualified Consultant Radiologist to join their child and adolescent health service team.

Location

New Plymouth is on the western side of New Zealand's North Island and is ideally located for those who enjoy the outdoor life. Hiking, biking and other such activities are very popular due to the areas amazing scenerya dn its advantageous position at the base of Mount Taranaki and the Egmont National Park. The town of New Plymouth is also beautifl and its sunny climate make the beautiful parks and gardens a pleasure to peruse.

Position

Reporting to the Head of Department or service director and you would be working alongside 6 others. Your role as consultant radiologist would be amongst a staff of 70 sonographers, radiographers, RNS and technologists. The essential skills of Plain Film, Ultrasound, CT and MRI reporting will be required. Desirable but not essential would be sub speciality interest in MSK MRI and general interventions (no intracranial work). The following would also be desirable: CT colonography; CT cardiology and nuclear medicine. There would be no formal on call with this position. Qualifications and Experience Required:

You must have specialist certifications and registration with the GMC or equivalent body and the ability to move

* CCST in Radiology from the Royal College.
* American Board in Radiology
* Fellowship from the Royal College in Australia and New Zealand
