We are seeking a Trainee Healthcare Assistant to join the Omnes Healthcare Family; become part of a company that makes a difference.

Salary: £20,000 - £23,000 per annum depending on experience

Hours: 40 hours per week which does include weekend working.

You may be required to work 11.5 hour shifts however shifts finish no later than 8pm and you will never be required to more than your allocated 40 hours per month unless you request to work overtime.

We have 17 clinics located across the following locations: Dagenham, Barking, Romford, Ilford, Upminster, Hornchurch, South Woodford and Rainham.

Please note that if you are successful in securing a role as one of our Trainee Healthcare Assistants you will be required to work across all of our sites, but we always try to provide your schedule 3 weeks in advance, so you are able to make the necessary arrangements.

All of our site have full COVID compliant infection controls in place.

About The Role
No experience is required as full training is provided for this role and as such this opportunity would either suite somebody who is interested in pursuing a career in the Healthcare industry for the very first time or someone who has previously worked in Healthcare and are looking for the next step in their career.

Healthcare assistants are an integral part of the team that provide support to medical staff and patients throughout our Ultrasound clinics. Without the input of our Healthcare Assistants, our clinics wouldn’t be able to function properly.

As a Healthcare Assistant you will be a key point of contact between patients and the wider medical team, undertaking essential daily tasks to ensure that patients are adequately looked after and dealt with.

As a Healthcare Assistant your role will involve but will not be limited to:

* Ensuring patient areas are kept clean and tidy.
* Ensuring medical equipment is clean and well maintained.
* Explaining to patients what takes will take place during their appointment.
* Entering patient data into computer systems.
* Assisting specialists with various procedures.
* Carrying out stock taking and reporting numbers back to management.

What We Are Looking For From Our Candidates:
We are keen to stress that you do not need previous experience for this role so all applications will be considered however it is important that applicants have all of the following qualities:

Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
* The ability to confidently communicate with people face to face.
* Confidence with computers and common software applications.
* Willingness to learn and development an understanding of patient needs and the role of a healthcare assistant.

As a Healthcare Assistant you will be an important part of our patients experience and so it is extremely important that you are an organised, punctual and reliable individual.
