DENTAL NURSE, HAMMERSMITH

This is an award winning practice in West London, offering holistic dentistry and the full range of advanced dental treatments under one roof.

With over 30 years of experience, the practice owner has established a practice to offer his unique holistic approach to dentistry combined with advanced specialist treatments, taking into account each individual’s lifestyle and health, offering complementary remedies when appropriate.

For more than 20 years, this practice has provided exceptional dental care in the heart of West London, offering expertise and advanced treatments in everything from braces and crowns to implants and smile makeovers.

•Full time opportunity, 34 hours per week

What the role involves
•Understand the vision and brand message for the practice and deliver outstanding customer service experience
•Enrolled on a reputable National Examining Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN) National Diploma in Dental Nursing, accredited by the General Dental Council (GDC)
•Typically, the course is self funded and takes 18 months to complete
•The dental nursing diploma course is comprised of a written examination, practical examinations, and a workplace portfolio (Record of Experience)
•Successful learners are eligible and should apply for GDC registration upon completion of the portfolio and achievement of the written and practical examinations
•Syllabus; Health and safety and infection control in the workplace, Medical emergencies, Dental radiography, Legislation and ethics, Dental and general anatomy, Dental disease, cause, diagnosis and prevention, Dental check ups, treatment planning and actual treatments, Patient care and management, Dental drugs, and materials instruments and equipment
•Following all regulations in the UK such as CQC, GDC standards, GDPR, HTM 01-05, confidentially and consent processes
•Any other ad hoc responsibilities as reasonably requested
