An exciting post has opened for a practice in Orpington, Bromley.

The practice is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join their existing team. You will be working on a part-time basis across two closes by sites, for 3 days per week. The days are still flexible so please enquire to share your availability.

This is a training practice which will support your clinical interest areas in future. The primary duties of the job however are managing chronic diseases and contributing to the treatment room duties. The practice consists of Partners, GPs, ANPs and Practice Nurses and the team work together to create a friendly atmosphere. They emphasise the importance of work life balance, and therefore there is a degree of flexibility within the working hours.

The practice is part of an active PCN which provides opportunities for multi-site working. This position is across two practice sites. There is a "Good" rating in the CQC and the practice performs highly in QOF scores. You may be required to assist in home visits on occasion.

Key Duties

* Managing chronic diseases, ideally Diabetes and Hypertension but will consider respiratory illnesses
* Cervical cytology
* Immunisations and vaccinations, wound care and other treatment room skills
* Attending clinical meetings
* Assisting the wider team

Package and Benefits

* £18 - £21 per hour depending on experience
* 3 days per week, approximately 24-27 hours
* Permanent contract with NHS Pension
* 6 weeks holiday including Bank Holidays

* Parking on site and street parking

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

* Fully registered with the NMC and right to work in the UK
* Primary care experience - 1 year
* Experience with chronic disease management - ideally Diabetes and hypertension
* Experience of cytology
