FRS Recruitment have partnered up with a Leading Community Homecare Provider in the South West of Ireland to support them in their recruitment of a Social Care Supervisor.

Take up a role with a fantastic private organisation who provide services to older persons, persons with intellectual disabilities, post-operative care, specialised dementia care, and general support.

This is a community based role which will involve the supervising of staff within the Limerick area. There will be daily travel involved so access to own transport is essential.

If you have a background in Social Care and some management or Team Leader experience behind you, this could be the perfect new role for you.

Essential Requirements

* Hold a Primary Degree in Social Care/Health or related.
* Some Management/Team Lead Experience is essential
* Experience in Community Homecare desirable.
* Strong communication & interpersonal skills required

Duties & Responsibilities

* Support Staff, through effective communication & appraisal processes
* Recruitment & Induction of new staff
* Meet with staff regularly in your region to offer support & guidance
* Planning and implementing homecare assessments and care plans for new & existing clients.
* Build relationship with local Primary Care Team
* Conduct regular team meetings
* Travel around to clients in the area where required
