A fantastic new opportunity has arisen in Tamworth for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.

This is the perfect opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join a successful practice in Tamworth. You will be joining the well established, existing nursing team to care for the circa 15,000 patient population. The team pride themselves on their ethos of exceptional patient care and multi-disciplinary approach.
The practice operates over two sites which are purpose built and are within easy reach of surrounding towns Lichfield and Sutton Coldfield. You will benefit from regular team meetings and a very supportive environment that encourage development.

Key Duties

As an ANP you will be:

* Diagnosing, treating and prescribing for patients presenting with undifferentiated and undiagnosed illness or injury
* Dealing with primarily acute presentations, some chronic conditions
* Assessing needs including physical assessment
* Prescribing and advising on medications
* Open to training and development with the team
* Acute and chronic patient care
* Participating in administrative duties

Package and Benefits
The practice are offering:

* Up to 37.5 hours
* An excellent salary of approximately £52,000 depending on experience
* 6 weeks holiday and 1 week CPD leave, plus bank holidays

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements
The successful candidate must be:

* Fully registered with the NMC
* Ideally, MSc Advanced Clinical Practice qualified or working towards
* Primary care experienced
* An independent or non-medical prescriber
* Confident autonomous practitioner
* Ideally have experience with leadership, management, supervision or training of junior staff
