Technical Sales – X-Ray Solutions - East Midlands. Zest Scientific is currently assigned to recruit a Technical Sales Representative on behalf of a leading provider of innovative technologies for the industrial and security inspection markets. The client has developed market leading X-Ray technologies for revealing concealed objects and has experienced sustained growth as a result of instabilities in global security. The Technical Sales vacancy is a new role within a growing sales team and is integral to my clients short to medium term growth plans.
The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business and managing existing accounts across a range of industries due to the diverse applicability of the technology. End users include Pharma, Biotech, Automotive, Aerospace and Security markets. Primarily office based (Leicestershire), the successful candidate will generate and follow up existing leads, visit new and existing customers as required adopting a creative and tenacious approach in order to grow sales. The Technical Sales role represents an excellent opportunity for a candidate who demonstrates a technical background and/or Engineering experience in 2D and 3D x-ray solutions to break into sales. Candidates will need to demonstrate good levels of commercial acumen and show a real desire and commitment to sales.
Educated to Degree or HNC level in the relevant discipline coupled with technical experience of 2D and 3D X-Ray systems, applicants will need to demonstrate the personal competencies required to succeed in a customer facing role. Background knowledge of the global security industry would be highly desirable.
In return the successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary ranging from £28,000 - £35,000 (DOE) + Commission.
