Scrub Nurse - North East
I am currently recruiting for an experienced scrub nurse to work within a multi-disciplinary team, utilising your specialities and skills learnt through your UK theatre experience. You will have a minimum of 2 years experience.
You will be working for a relatively new foundation Trust; set up on 1st Fecruary 2007, who provide secondary hospital care from three main sites. The Trust also runs community hospitals, and provides outpatient, community and outreach services from other sites. The Trust offers modern, clean facilities which include two cardiac suites and an NHS Treatment Centre for routine surgery.
The Trust has around 4700 whole time equivalent staff and 1200 beds. They provide secondary care district general hospital services to a population of around 500,000 their main region and aslo sub-regional services serving a population of 1.2 million.
In 2008, the Trust was named one of the CHKS 40 Top Hospitals for the first time since it was established in 2002.
You will be NMC registered, with a minimum of 2 years UK theatre working experience.
