Job Code :	Microbiology Manager	A PERMANENT MICROBIOLOGY SUPERVISOR IN A PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Recruitment of new laboratory colleagues. • Tracking/monitoring of sample cycle times in the laboratory. • Ensuring timely completion of Analytical Laboratory Investigation Reports and associated reports. Issues trend reports in line with requirements. • Interfacing with the Process Team in order to facilitate pre-determined shipping schedules. • Preparation and administration of laboratory goals and objectives. Assures timely implementation and completion. • Conducting performance reviews for laboratory colleagues. In conjunction with colleagues, determines goals and objectives for them. Conducting quarterly meetings with colleagues to review progress and provide feedback. • Participate in regulatory agency inspections as required by the QO Leader. • Developing a communication network with counterparts at other manufacturing sites/companies in order to maintain the laboratory in full compliance with all applicable regulatory agency requirements and corporate procedures. • Maintaining departmental expenses within approved budgets. • Perform all tasks with due care and attention and in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and company requirements, policies and procedures. • Be part of a learning and development programme which will include goal setting, annual performance reviews and individual development plans. • Champion for safe working practices and safety initiatives within their functional area. SKILLS: You will have a minimum of a B.Sc in Microbiology or a Science related discipline and/or relevant technical QC experience with at least 5 years experience at a management level in a relevant industry. You will have excellent knowledge of GMPs with a working knowledge of compendial requirements.
