Job Code : Theatre Manager We are actively seeking a Registered Nurse or a registered ODP practitioner with a relevant theatre practice qualification and a management qualification to apply for the post of Theatre Manager for a leading Private Hospital.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years theatre experience including 2 years with clinical management responsibilities with a broad range of clinical experience, experience of managing staff including team-building with evidence of leadership and who is able to demonstrate ability with regard to budgeting and resource management

You must be able to work under pressure have a flexible approach to hours of work, be a team leader who is commercially aware, enthusiastic and innovative, customer and patient focused, an excellent communicator with an attitude which is professional and conscientious.

Provide a high standard of leadership to all personnel in the department - clinical and non-clinical
Maintain professionals confidentiality and standards
Participate as a member of the theatre surgical team
Manage quality standards of the hospital/department e.g. Healthcare Commission
Act as the hospital's representative on Decontamination issues
On-call for departmental clinical and operational issues
Maintain all appropriate records
Participate in budget and business planning
Ensure specific KPI targets are met as in the Balanced Score Card
Ensure robust revenue capture
Lead teaching / development of staff
Perform duties in line with Hospital/Corporate policies and procedures.
