Advantage Healthcare is currently recruiting for a RMO to undertake a six-month contract in a private hospital in Surrey.
This is a week on-week off rota working 168hrs per week. The hospital offers fantastic rates of pay, which is paid on a weekly basis. The hospital is surgical and specialises in orthopaedics, ENT, gynaecology, urology, paediatrics and general medicine. This hospital has no CCU or ITU beds but does have some HDU beds and has 37 beds in total.
The main purpose of the RMO role is;
• To cover for cardio-respiratory arrests and any other clinical emergencies (The post is ward based mainly but the RMO may be asked to assist in theatre)
• To carry out practical procedures, for example, insertion of IV lines, urinary catheterisation, ECGs and phlebotomy.
• To exercise appropriate clinical judgement in the absence of the consultant.
Essential Requirements for this role are;
• Eligible to work in UK without a work permit
• Full GMC registration with reimbursement* of GMC registration available for the right candidate
• Hepatitis B, Varicella and TB Immunity
• Overseas Foreign Police check (issued in last 3 months) or UK Enhanced CRB in the last 12 months
• ACLS or ATLS or ALS issued within last 2 years
• PALS or APLS issued within last 2 years
• Minimum of 2 references/testimonials
• Experience at SHO level in Accident & Emergency required
• Anaesthetics, Paediatrics or ITU experience desirable
• Proven clinical competence in resuscitation and general medical emergencies
